Why I do what I do

I love product marketing and I've practiced it for over a decade. This love for the craft brought me from being a product marketing specialist, to managing product marketing teams and leading tier-1 product launches including our favourite topic of AI.

If you're like me, you've noticed significant shifts in consumer behaviour quickly permeating into B2B - and it's only accelerating. Yet so many of our marketing practices remained the same, wasting money, time and most importantly not making the buyer journey any easier in what is now a very complex information overload environment.

About Eamon

Eamon Ida has over 10 years of experience in product marketing. He has worked as a PMM and a PMM manager. He has also managed cross functional marketing teams spanning events, customer marketing and campaigns. He spent 10 years at SAP covering BTP BI and Analytics Solutions, Spend Management Solutions (SAP Ariba), and led the introduction of Tier 1 products at SAP such as the SAP Business Network supply chain solution. He also has experience with “low-touch” growth marketing from his time leading SAP Business Network where led efforts to engage and monetize 6M+ customers in the network business. After his time at SAP he joined Infor, a cloud ERP company. There he built the solution marketing team for the Platform and AI Business. Eamon has extensive experience working directly with senior leaders, including C-suite executives on strategic initiatives as well as on keynote demos and presentations. Eamon has a reputation of trust, integrity, critical thinking, energy, leadership and for his ability to deliver on complex, high-visibility initiatives. Eamon hold a BBA in Marketing from Simon Fraser University and holds Pragmatic Marketing certifications for Foundations, Focus, Build, Market and Launch.
